 Chris
Hawker has been playing music most of his life. He has toured
Australia extensively, playing guitar for some of the countries
highest profile bands, from Tina Arena to Taxi Ride.
One of his bands Bodymotors is currently mixing their
sixth album, due for release later this year.
Mid 2006 saw the debut EP from
Melbourne's Airway Lanes, a rock act featuring the vocal
and songwriting talents of Chris and founding Taxiride
member, Dan Hall, with their first single Desire hitting
the airwaves on NovaFM and scoring rave reviews around the country.
To celebrate their success,
the band came back with their second single Ships Are Sinking
which hit radio in October 2006. Airway Lanes are signed with
exciting new label Dust Devil Music through Stomp.
